The United States is of course primarily interested in its own best interests and survival. As you should know the status quo was well maintained in the Middle East for a number of years with Saddam and the extremists in Iran keeping each other in check. That was starting to collapse. France and Germany wanted to take over the oil fields in the Region, as did Russia. Russia needed the oil to re-establish its status as a superpower. In order to prevent a Franco-German monopoly or a cataclysmic war between Russia and Turkey (Russia would have to run over Turkey to get the Gulf in its grasp) the US had to take decisive action in the region. The stupidity of Saddam Hussein and the insanity of Osama bin Ladin gave US our opportunity. The mess that is there now is due to a lack of political resolve in the US. We don't have the balls to do what we must to utterly win in the region, and we're too far involved to just pack up and go home. By trying to be the 'nice guys' we have inflicted more pain and suffering than just doing the job right in the first place would ever have caused. War should never be fought by civilized men or politicians. When a country decides to wage war it should give it's generals the mission, cry 'Havoc' and let slip the dogs of war. The war continues now because although the extremists are backward and evil, it is only natural for indigingous people to see a foreign presence as an invasion. It is absolutely to be expected that people will fight for their homeland. It is a viscious circle that is hard to break. What the insurgents can't see is that the US is offering them strength and the power to run their own lives. The extremists only offer enslavement and ignorance which will make them an easier target for foreign manipulation.

1. Screw the Taliban. They supported murderers, were given the chance to make it good, and they were disabled.

2 Screw Saddam. He broke the conditions of the armistice of the first gulf war and deserves to rot in hell, anyway.

3. If you can't handle the rather nice American Law, I suggest we resurrect the Soviet Union, and you can live under their domination. The French apparently are open to the idea. Wouldda saved American's citizens a lot in taxes had we handed Western Europe and the Middle East over to Joe Stalin in the first place.

P.S. We have freedom of religion here. I'm an agnostic, and I get along just fine with my Jewish, Christian, Muslim and Hindu associates. Maybe we Americans just think we're more civilized than others because we have been getting along so successfully regarding religion while many other troglodyte, bigoted nations just continue to rot.

Now, are you an innocent, a dupe, or an operative?

America attacked Afganistan in response to the fact that the Taliban were protecting Osama Bin Laden, the mastermind of 9/11 and leader of Al Quaeda. America would like the new Afgan government to stabilize so we can leave.

America attacked Iraq because Saddam Hussein violated countless UN resolutions and the UN failed to act. The US was also aware that Saddam was slaughtering many of his own people. Therefore, we eliminated Saddam and his armed forces, established an interim government, set up elections and hope to leave Iraq as soon as possible.

Religion has nothing to do with America's attacks.

#1- 95% of the Iraqi deaths here in Iraq are caused by terrorists and not by the US. I am here now, and we risk ourselves everyday. These murderers call themselves Shahhadah, but they are KAFIR (infidels).

#2- The bombings you speak of against Iraq/ Afghan targets have been mostly aimed at terrorist training camps. One such camp 50 miles away from Kabul had 300 terrorists being trained how to use explosives. After the bombs struck, many of the terrorist bombs also exploded killing even more of them. (ooops.... HAHAHAHAHA.... somehow fitting...)

#3- You have no clue what is going on outside of wherever you are.... but you are obviously not in either Iraq or Afghanistan. You are typing on a computer and using the internet. None of my Iraqi/ Afghani friends have either.... most do not have power or even a telephone.

honestly i don't know why my government went after iraq, except to secure the oil, which i think is rather weak, in light of the devastating consequences.
osama bin laden is/was in afghanistan after 9/11 attacks on this country inwhich thousands of innocents were slaughtered, and i think we should've transformed the entire country of afghanistan into a glass parkinglot that glows in the dark on 9/12; if we'd done that then, there'd be no issues with iraq or afghanistan, or bin laden or terrorists, no one would again threaten this country.
i personally have nothing against Muslems in general...it is those radical numbers of that sect that seem to hate my country and countrymen and desire our destruction that i take issue with...not that i care if they hate us, but seeking to destroy us is a bit personal, and i will defend myself with whatever means necessary, up to and including the creation of glass-glow-in-the-dark parking lots.

As for pass over California i grew to become into speechless for the period of her answer. i think of many human beings know they sort of guy Perez Hilton is and they additionally new of direction his question grew to become into going to be something of the kind he asked. yet i did no longer assume her to respond to the way she did. She had guts and extra balls than i know of all people particularly. to grant your opinion on national television and know which you are going to be critized later for it or perhaps loose the prospect of triumphing, i think of she had balls. i presumed she grew to become into yet another 'prevalent' contestant, yet boy did she prepare me incorrect. She replied the question actual and did no longer provide the formulaic reaction different contestants provide. She demonstatred what freedom of speech grew to become into as an American, and clearly to me grew to become into the suited pass over usa final evening.

The fact is that most people, including myself, do not know what Islam actually preeches. All us Americans are exposed to is radical Islam which preaches 'jihad' and to kill everyone that isnt Muslim. For us to respect Islam, we need to be educated on what it actually is, which can't be "kill everyone." At least I hope not.
