my immediate family exchanges gifts after we return from midnight mass, so technicall you could say it's Christmas morning.

we have an extended holiday and celebrate christmas again on December 12 so during that time we visit relatives and take gifts for them, or they come to see us and we give them their gifts

To comment on someone's comment: Until recently I thought Xmas was inappropriate because it "exed out" Christ in Christmas. But then I read the history about the word Xmas and found that the "X" did mean Christ but from ancient times.
