Let's see....we gave our cats their present (60 catnip mice) mid-afternoon on the 24th. We had a romantic candlelit dinner and then opened our presents to each other. We "unwrapped" each other, fooled around for a bit, then watched a few episodes of Doctor Who and played Scrabble.

Tomorrow, my whole family is going to my folks' home for Christmas dinner.

I'm not Christian, so the Christmas holiday doesn't have any religious significance to me anymore. But it is a time to be with family, and that is really important to me. Sometimes I can't stand to be around them, but I'm glad I have those ties to them.

Life doesn't always have to suck.

Seeing as how Goths are people too, probably the same as everyone else. They may not act as happy as most people and feel a little awkward around those that are happy, but I am sure they celebrate it too. More likely to than Jews and Muslims anyway.

They watch Tim Burtons Nightmare Before Christmas and play Perry Commo records backwards.

I like the previous Perry Como answer. Funny. I'd rahter celebrate Halloween as it's a better holiday anyway. I've always wanted to make a dead tree for Halloween and have it decorated. Idea, anyway.

X-mas is just an over pushed holiday anyway, meant for consumerism and has only been around as a holiday since the late 1800's. Although, as it's been said/sung, "Everyday's like Halloween" although I don't always look so absurd nor so obscene.
