You mean sightings? Sitings would be something different.

Sharks are saltwater animals, so they are not found in fresh water. Lake Michigan, like the other Great Lakes (and like most, but not all, lakes in the world) is a body of fresh water. So no, there are no sharks living in Lake Michigan.

ok, so here is the real answer with facts:

Fact 1. bull sharks and greenland sharks can and do survive in freash water.

Fact 2. there are documented cases of bull sharks and greenland sharks in water much colder than the great lakes. The waters in Alaska being one of the places

Fact 3. Bull sharks have been confirmed to have been caught in the waterways of Ohio by confirmed I am referring to the Ohio DNR.

Fact 4 Greenland sharks have been video taped and authentacated as living in the ST Lawrence seaway, this seaway connects the ocean to the great lakes.

Fact 5 There is shipping channels that ships go through to travel from Great lake to Great lake, no the ships dont jump the Niagra falls and guess what sharks wouldnt have to either, the would use the same chanels the ships do to include many of the man made locks.

So from these Facts is it possible that bull sharks and greenland sharks could be in the great lakes? Yes it is more than possible. Am I saying there is a breeding population? NO. I am simply saying it is very possible and the more the oceans and waterways are comercially fished the more sharks will have to move around to find food sources just like any other animal has to. I say if it hasnt happened yet it certainly will. Everybody said that there were no cougers "mountin lions" left in michigan either but the Michigan DNR has within the last few years started to reconize and confirm that indeeed there are cougers in michigan. Like I said its only a matter of time before a bullshark is caught and recorded and accepted as being in the great lakes

No never, a shark could no more live in lake Michigan than in your neighbors lawn. Sharks need salt water, and Lake Michigan is fresh water.

It is not like sharks could start jumping up Niagara Falls like they were salmon or something, humorous though the concept is.

I haven't heard anything about sharks, but you need to watch out for water snakes. They swim on top of the water, and they're all venemous. The least poisonous water snake is more poisonous than the most poisonous land snake. That goes for all water snakes. You can stop the bleeding on a shark bite, but once that snake venom gets into your body, if you don't use anti-venom within a few minutes, you're toast.
