My ammonia is too high.. It is testing around 1 and my nitrate is at 10 what should I do? I don't feel that much..

My PH is good at 8.2 and my nitrite is good at 0..

Any suggestions?

My filters are pretty loud and you can hear the water which sounds like a waterfall, what can I do to reduce noise? It's the 2 tubes on the top of the tank which are clear and filter the water.

THANKS FOR THE HELP

I don't really know that much about salt water tanks, but a water change sounds right.
Call your local fish store. Those people know what they're talking about. I do know there are products out there for ammonia removal, though.

double check your salinity and do some water changes only25% you can do this over a few day and not make the water to unstable. add some bactiral enzymes into the water as well. since you are useing mostly the same water add some Bio chem zorb into the filter this will help remover most impuritys.

You Absolutely need to inspect your filtration system, As you know there are good bacteria and bad bactreria. Salt-Water Filtration systems need to promote good, and kill bad. And remove toxic chemicals. Know how your filters work!, Noise problems may be solved by sound insulating certain systems.

it sounds to me that you seriously need to clean your filters and do a water change, you might even need to syphen your gravel. if the filters are that loud its assuming that your water level is really low. when your water gets low your levels rise cause there is less water. you also need to be testing your salt level.1.023-25 if my memory serves me right. you might want to join an online reef forum like www.nano-reef.com theres is loads of info on there.

Do a substantial water change and re-check it, do it again. Clean filters or replace. Good luck :)
