i downloaded active sync 4.2 n it say i need sumthin higher then 4.0 but its already got it higher.it wont transfer the pics on the pocket pc to the computer,why?does anyone kno?

Sounds to me like you have a bad or corrupted install of the newer version try the steps below.
#1 uninstall the old version then use a registry cleaner program to get rid of the leftovers.
#2 reboot the system.
#3 reinstall the software.
