unfortunately, many forget that we're just that. They get too involved with their own little worlds, that they forget we all share one. This saddens me greatly, as it only slows our progression towards something greater. But there is hope, we are developing more and more, eventually people will awaken, I just hope that they awaken before global warming finishes us off. People are not realizing exactly what global warming is yet....but hopefully, that will become apparent.

So if you have something bigger to worry about, go ahead.

But for the rest of the human race, the earth and all of its people and institutions and features are much bigger than any individual, and those things have a great (even a determining) effect on the individual.

So OF COURSE people are cocerned about what's going on here on earth, and are trying to affect it and to make it more favorable to themselves.

Because we're social animals.

The different social groups resolve territorial disputes by engaging in conflicts of one sort or another (war, economic, political).

It's getting crowded. The different social groups are closer together, so the the amount of conflict is increasing.

When you think of us as little more than groups of complicated baboons fighting each other, it's very easy to understand why we act as we do.
