I work with State of Florida, we submit time sheets over the internet. I upgraded from Internet Explorer 6.0 to 7.0. I did not realize, State of Florida website is not compatible/workable with IE 7.0, now, I need to get back to 6.0. I tried deleting 7.0 and downloaded 6.0 again, but my PC got screwed up. I don't want to create further damage with my system. I am using Windows XP. Please help, what's the best way. Thanks for any advice.

The easiest way to do this is to use System Restore if you have it enable on your PC. Go Start,All programs,Accessories,System tools and System restore. At this point, the system restore window will open and you can choose to restore your pc to an earlier time when IE 6 was still on your PC.

To uninstall Internet Explorer 7 to return to Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP
Click "Start," and then click "Control Panel."
Click "Add or Remove Programs."
Check "Show Updates" at the top of the dialog box.
Scroll down the list and highlight the version of Internet Explorer 7 that you are running, and then click "Change/Remove."
Uninstall that,restart your PC and you are on IE6

Just goto, star/settings/control panel/ add remove programs
Delete IE 7, the machine will revert to the previous version.

Go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove programs.
Uninstall IE7 from there. Your IE will be automatically be downgraded to version 6.
