"It is first important to determine if your fish is feeding normally. Most often, goldfish are good eaters and are not too shy about eating. However, a more timid fish may be at a loss during feeding time, and so fish should be observed during feeding to make sure each gets a share of the food. In general, if a fish is rather smaller than his tankmates, he may not get as much food, not because he is unwilling to eat, but unable to eat. If a fancy goldfish is kept with more common varieties, the fancy goldfish may be unable to acquire adequate food. Extra effort on the part of the keeper can often alleviate this trouble, with separation for the fish in question if necessary.
Sometimes, goldfish will simply decide they do not like a certain food. It does not matter that other goldfish eat a certain food... yours is unique, and will decide this for himself. You may in this case see your goldfish 'tasting' a food and then spitting it out in a few seconds. In this case, other foods may be tried. It is usually not long before you find one that your goldfish will like. In general, goldfish are not very picky at all, and eat just about anything. When your goldfish becomes hungry enough, he will eat (and it is not uncommon for a goldfish to resist eating for three days or more!).
A goldfish who will not eat or does not eat as much as usual (especially when being fed foods that are normally accepted) may well be suffering from a disease. The keeper should be on the watch for other symptoms, and should consult a vet or petstore if in doubt."

Your fishy is probably adjusting from the move. Sometimes it takes them a while to get settled in.
Try feeding him some orange. Leaving a little rind on it will make it float and it will be easier to take out.
My goldfish LOVE oranges. And tomato.
Is the food flake food? Mostly goldfish prefer flakes.
They also love bloodworms. If your brave enough to buy them and feed them to them. My mom hates them and thinks their disgusting. They aren't even really worms. Their mosquito larvae.
You could buy the freeze dried kind that come in a fish food container or the frozen one in the cubes.
Or you could stick to the not gross foods. Lol! Your fish also may be depressed if he isn't eating. Goldfish hate being kept in bowls so if thats the case you should buy him a much larger home soon. 10 gallons would be good and probably last him his whole life.
He probably wont get much bigger than 8 inches long. Lets hope not anyways. He might grow bigger if he lives to be like 15 though.
His surroundings could take part in why he isn't eating.

Maybe he prefers a different kind of food? If the goldfish doesn't look or seem sick. I can't say I know much about goldfish but I do have a Betta fish and I know he wouldn't eat the food i brought him either. Which was those flakes, so I tried pellets and he eats those just fine. Anyways hope this somewhat helps....=P

i know it sounds gross but you need to check if your goldfish is defecating. many goldfish, especially the round-bodied fancy kind, become constipated easily. if you see only a clear tube coming out with nothing inside this might be the problem. some people say if this happens to feed your goldfish frozen peas. otherwise just wait a few days and hope it passes.
i would not be too concerned since you just moved him. just remember that water changes should be done at least once a week and only change 1/4 (one quarter) of the water each time. it takes a while for the nitrogen cycle to build up in a tank and you don't want to disturb it by changing too much water at a time. goldfish are very hardy but are prone to some health problems.
hope that helps you out!

The stress of moving can often cause fish to lose their appetite for a day or two. Sometimes they have to adjust to being fed in a new place, as well, and find the food. Give him a few days. He'll probably be fine.

Sometimes when fish get transferred to diffrent water environments they suffer shock from temp/ph/chemical changes in the water, this will effect their appetite, Survival First!
