he/she probably has a suspicion- if it's a girl and you've been her best friend for awhile- she would have to be blind not to see it-- I tell my daughters constantly that there is no such thing as best friends in a boy/girl relationship- it is only boys wishing you will recognize them as potential dates and hoping that you will eventually see through them and date them. Good luck to you-- other than telling them directly and ruining the friendship you dont have a prayer.

If you think there's chance that he/she may feel the same way about you, just tell them.
Either way, it's probably best to tell them. Basically say, "I do not want this to effect our friendship, but I have feelings for you that go beyond friendship, and I wanted to let you know."

look. u must be frank in life. if u love someone just tell her. me also i love my best friend. after school, we usually met at a specific place before i told her the truth. so, i wrote a letter adressed to her: dear ......, i love u. if u too u love me, come to meet me after school and say if u love me too. if u don't don't say anything. but anyways if u don't, don't break our frienship. so, u also give your gf a letter like that one ok? i hope it is a best answer

hmm... i've been through that situation. actually, i've been going out with my bestfriend for 6 months now. i know it feels awkward but you really have to tell it to the other person really soon before you lose your chance. let the other person feel it first. give hints through body language. just don't scare the other person away! haha.. if you guys are really bestfriends, then you would know what he/she thinks about those romantic stuff. use what you know. if she loves sunsets, bring her somewhere nice with a beautiful view. then, that's your chance to tell her. you know a lot about him/her so use it for your advantage. ^^ goodluck!!!
