it says cd rw on my computer..and I am using cdr's.
is this why?
I have win media player 10 and it says use writeable disc.

If you are told to use a CD/RW, that's what you will have to do.

It shouldn't make a difference.
Do you have CD+-RW?
Or is it a dedicated + or -?
Compare it to the CD's you are using, because there are CD+R and CD-R.

I use Sony CD-RW CDRW700L
They work fine!

i think you need a program to burn cd's.. you can find those on the internet

install nero express.this software will solve your problem.
