Iran took an aggressive position relative to the UN position (to stop building nukes). It is a destabilizing thing for Iran to do. Consider this:

IF Iran builds a nuclear weapon, or 10...what do they do? Brag about it or use it? The concern is that a government with such strong ideological feelings could decide to use it and let Allah protect them. I suspect Allah won't and lots of people die.

IF Iran believes that poses sing nukes will save them from attack from hostile neighbors...perhaps. If Iran itself becomes aggressive AND has nukes AND uses them, then they will be destroyed by the United Nations who will not tolerate such behavior.

The argument of parity with Russia, Israel, US,UK, India, Pakistan and others is irrelevant. Those nations will suffer greatly if they use their nukes aggressively, and have not (other than the US in WWII).

Those who live by the sword, will die by the sword.

I too don't fully understand your question, but i'll do my best.
I do not think a regime such as the one ruling Iran should posses any kind of weapons of mass destruction, period. They are too dangerous and the minds of the people possesing them are just as dangerous. Religion gives a sense of security and purpose that might reduce the logical limitations on the use of such weapons.
On the other hand, to be fair, how can i tell an Iranian not to go for nuclear weapons when all around them there are nuclear powers, whether Pakistan, India, Russia or Israel? I see a double standard here, even in my own views. Is it correct for me to hinder them just because i don't like their views? I don't know, i haven't resolved that myself.
Some of thr things that the Iranian president has been saying about Jews and the Holocaust are not only wrong, but they are also inappropriate, especially coming from a head of state. I can understand some cleric or professor or someone else saying things like that, but not the president of a country.
In any case, when people talk about Iran they keep saying "but look, Iran is bad, they want to wipe Israel off the map." So the hell what? Since when has Israel become a beacon of virtue or a litmus test for goodness? If the Iranian president wants to destroy Israel, well good for him, it's nothing but talk, though he is welcome to try.
I have never accepted, nor will i ever accept, this "worshiping" of Israel that i see in the USA. Why should we care what happens to Israel? What is Israel's strategic importance to us here? If you point to religion or any biblical basis for your "love" for Israel, then you must grant the Iranians, or any other Muslims, the same right to look into their religion, or culture, or whatever, as a basis for their political views, or "love" for Palestine.

I appreciate the fact that English is not primary language.

I think what you are asking; "Is it right to limit what Iran can do as far developing Nuclear Power?"

I believe it is right and correct.
Too many nations have that ability at this point, and it is a "Pandora's Box" that can not be closed once it is opened.

The nations with Nuclear capability has all agreed that any nation that does not have Nuclear power that wants it should be assisted by those same powers to develop power generation means other than atomic.

Maybe this sounds "Imperialistic" but in reality look at the history of some of these nations and their military actions. Do we really want to have the entire world armed to the teeth with weapons that can exterminate us all?

As an American I trust Iran about as far as I can toss its Leaders. Is this right and correct? Maybe so, maybe not..... But Iran specifically has stated its foreign policy is that it does not recognize Israel and if possible it would seek "to eliminate that nation". Take that statement and add in Nuclear weapons....

Israel is an unrecognized Nuclear power as well. If someone were to say that they need a Nuke to protect them from Israel, I would have to disagree. Hamas terrorists attacked Israel only a few months ago. As many as 10,000 medium range rockets were stockpiled and a great many of them were fired into Israel. Those Hamas terrorists are STILL firing rockets to this very day because they are stupid. Israel had the opportunity to use a few of those 'Tac-Nukes' and not risk its soldiers in doing so. Israel did not even threaten to use one because in the end case, Israel is not ruled by its religious fanaticism. Iran still is......

I think hes speaking of the economic sanctions imposed in iran by the un security council. In my opinion, its not enough. I never support war, but the sanction simposed are identical to those imposed on north korea when they conducted their nuclear tests. I have no issue with iranians or iran, but when a man like Ahmadinejad publicly denies the holocaust and expresses his interest in "wiping out" Israel, i think its clear this administration has a long way to go before it is internationally responsible.

I'm fairly certain that Iran in an internally conflicted nation.

I'm fairly certain that if the extremist powers in Iran get nuclear weapons they will use them immediately against Israel.

I'm glad to hear Iran publicly say it is limiting its nuclear efforts.

I'm fairly certain that regardless of what they publicly say, however, the work will continue.

Iran should apologize for the mistreatment of the American Marines during Jimmy Carters regime. I didnt say apporve of our support of zionist crimminals, i was just referring to our service men. Americans (red staters and Rural Blue staters) Love their Soldiers and will give their lives and fortunes to defend them a point the muslim world is ignoring. You may have problems with the clowns runnig this governemnt, but you have to deal with them without Making Middle class Amerrica Mad, we are stunningly powerful when enraged.

I believe that nuclear missiles should be used for defense only and not as a bullying tactic like N. Korea. All of the missiles are bad for us.
