if i knew what the smell was i could probably help you out a bit more.

use a good, name brand detergent such as Tide...not the cheap stuff.

soak them for awhile in the detergent and water - just put the lid up on the washing machine.

if they are white add some clorox. clorox smell is better than a bad stink.

after you wash them make sure to either hang them out to dry or put them in the dryer with a couple great smelling dryer sheets.

if they still smell spray them with febreze.

wash them as soon as you can - the longer it stays in them, the harder it is to get out.

good luck! SD

I use 20 Mule Team Borax in my laundry... I add a 1/2 cup to every wash load. It helps your detergent to work better.

I also use only Tide.

20 Mule Team Borax is found near the laundry items like stain removers.

Add some OxyClean to your regular laundry deteregent. If the clothes are white, you could use chlorine bleach, if they are colored, use non-chlorine, OR bleach for colors. Do not, however, use OxyClean with any kind of bleach. But one method or the other, bleach and detergent, or Oxy and detergent should do the trick. Good luck. :)

never leave them in a closed bag or wrapped in towels.
never leave them damp.
wash them immediately when you get home from the gym.if you cant, then lay them out flat and sprinkle wtih baking soda, then hang them up out in the open.
when you wash them put a cup of b.soda in the water, and a cup of vinegar to the rinse cycle.
