I'm alone on Christmas. I hate that!

I'm sorry that you're alone this Christmas. I'm dreading tomorrow because I'll see my ex-husband at my daughter's home. I know it will be uncomfortable for me, but I don't hate Christmas...I just hate the situation! You know, sometimes, even in a crowd of people, we can feel alone. Hang in there...the day will pass by and life will go on. Try to keep busy, think of something you can do to help someone else. And, before the next holiday, try to plan an activity with others so you won't feel so alone. God Bless!

I don't hate Christmas. But I do find what you're arguing rather interesting. Christmas isn't just a celebration of the birth of Christ anymore as the notion of this holiday has become multi-faceted. People the world over celebrate it on different levels, to suit their beliefs, values and circumstances. I like to think of Christmas as way of celebrating not only Christ but the fact I have family to get together with. Some people don't even have this. Consider yourself fortunate. And regarding the money and gift issue, hey, people get by. Money isn't everything.Because, speaking truthfully, there are people who have got it a lot worse. Christmas would be the last thing on their minds. But I do sympathise with you, things do get tough and it's hard not to be envious, but it's better off being thankful for what you do have and don't worry about what other people have got.

No! I love Christmas! I am sorry that you are alone on Christmas. Dont you go home? I lost my Dad couple of yrs back. On Christmas I wish he was here, but when all my nephews and nieces comes and we cook together its the greatest blessing-we talk about the good old days when Dad was here.
So I cant say much about your situation,because I dont know your situation, But if you hate christmas because you are alone, you can do something about that. Have a party and invite some of your friends. Change the mood!!!

I love Christmas but I would hate it also If I was alone.Find a way to get together with some family or friends in the morning . I t will make u feel much better.

Sorry to hear that you're all alone, I'm stuck here with my wife, five kids and two grandkids. But in answer to your question,,, Christmas SUCKS!!!! over the years it has become way too commercialized. No one ever thinks of the peace on earth, good will toward men thing anymore ,,, it's all ( what did you get me for christmas) they're only interested in what kind of gift you got them ,or how much it cost.

No, I could NEVER hate Christmas....but I'm alone AGAIN too...and I do hate that.
I put a ? out there about being alone tonight...and said something about "let's Party Dude!".
Hey you! I'm not just alone....but I'm alone 1,000 miles away from the home I've known for most of my life, 40 miles away from anyone else who knows me; on top of a quiet "out-in-the-country" hill, with nothing but deer around---all the neighbors have gone off to be with their friends/family, and I'm here with no one to talk to---or to wave to. I stay inside and keep my blinds pulled to feel safe. I have a car outside my window, but I can't afford to put gas in it.
eMail me if you want to. I'm so lonely I could cry. I don't have a job either, and my UNenjoyment runs out right after Christmas.
I have to go, before I HURL.
I'm trying to be strong, I really am...it's just hard...but I swear to you, I'll never HATE Christmas because of it. Christmas is a very magical time of year...and soon, you and I will have someone to share it will---someone we REALLY want to be with,,,not just someone we SETTLE for!.
Please hang in there...and look for something positive. You'll be doing it for YOU.

No I don't hate Christmas.....I wish I wasn't alone also, but even if it wasn't Christmas I would be alone. So I try to enjoy myself

I could NEVER hate a time of year that's all about peace and love... but to be alone on Christmas, that's gotta suck big-time.
