Here's a comment:

"Apparently, nothing focuses this man like failure. He seemed energized by the gigantic mess he's made, and eager to make the mess worse.

There's clearly something psychological at work here. He's spent his life trying to talk himself out of bad situations of his own making, so maybe this has put him in a comfort zone. He finally has the conflict in Iraq on his own terms, which means it is all screwed up. He seemed defiant and almost happy as he sparred with the reporters about this fiasco. The war isn't wearing him down - he seemed invigorated and joyfully alive. ..."

Why do some people still support this man?

Re: your additional details.

I think the reading and comprehension skills shown by most of the idiots responding in favor of Bush gives you the answer to your question. As someone else said, King Idiot for the little morons running around.

Most people in the USA for some reason have the idea the USA is a democracy...it is not! the USA is a Republic. Say your pledge of allegiance....

As a Republic the central government (Washington DC) is subject to the will of the people. The majority of the people are now against what Pres. Bush is doing. As such the people not the president have the say on what he does. You should demand from your congressmen and Senators that they stop Bush from what he is doing. If your congressman and Senators refuse to do so then have them recalled.

In a democracy the people elect the central government but then those elected are NOT responsible back to the people.

It is time for the American people to stop the corruption in the central government or use their power to secede from that Central government. This was done by New York and Pennsylvania when the central government refused to listen. You will notice that those two states are still part of the USA. And regardless as to what the central government says, individual states do have the right to secede from the central government.

NOTE: I guess I am editorializing but Bush is so messed up he has to be stopped from what he believes is right and isn't. what I am saying is that it is time for the people to take this country out of the hands of people like Bush and if it takes seceding to get their attention after all else has failed then do so. there is much more at stake here that the likes of George Bush

NOTE2: I have been studying the shadow government of the USA for over 20 years. Unless you know the controlling factors behind the government you don't know what is going on in the government. Bush is no idiot but he is a psychopath in my opinion. In order to know what is happening in your government you must know who and what is the Illuminati, Trilateral commission, Council on Foreign Affairs, the Builderburgers and the Club of Rome. you also need to understand what part the Skull and Bones plays in your government. And these are just for starters! If it takes the threat to secede to get the attention of the central government than it should be done.

Ok let me put it straight forward I don't like Bush either.
But your not doing much to convince people why he isn't a good president by ranting on Yahoo Answers. Instead you should answer some questions about this with explaining about what he has done wrong and why more than half the people in the US think their government is being run by a person who was behind the 9-11 attacks. You're not doing much but making red-necks irritated. So how about making a difference by telling people what's wrong.

More biased liberal talk... you really need to find a site that is not so biased against Bush before making your judgments. If doctors made their diagnosis based on only one symptom there would be lots of misdiagnosed patients. This is the same idea. In addition the writer is not even a licensed psychiatrist trained to make such diagnoses. This article and site is a joke...

Bush is only interested in supporting big multi-national corporate friends who benefit from his ignorant policies , especially in the middle east.
he has reason to smile because the more oil prices go up, the more money for his pocket., the more guns and artillery are made the more steel companies profit.
just be glad that it wasn't Bush who was president during the two world wars , he would have lost both wars.

Support or respect him for the job he is doing that we elected him to do? Right or wrong, he is the leader of this country and I am betting he thinks he is doing the right thing for it. It's always easier to say what we would do when we know we're not the one responsible for doing it. I hate the war but I don't think it is his fault we are in it, we were attacked and would be again if we sit back and allow it to happen over and over again.

He is either one of the most ignorant, dumb people on the planet, because he does not admit that things are HORRIBEL, and he has screwed up time and time again. So he doe not admit mistakes, hell, maybe he believes he has not made any? He's proud he is in charge. Howerver he is in charge of a quagmire(i like that word). Its like giving a dumb guy at work a set of keys so he thinks he is important. THe keys dont open anything, but he has a big key ring jingling on his belt so he feels importnat. What a dummie.

wow...you've managed to write a complete paragraph degrading Pres. Bush w/o saying anything of substance. What's the question? You sound like a high school kid regurgitating what his arts & crafts teacher said. you're a sad, sad, little boy. Try making a point supported by facts. And by the way, your "question" presupposes the answer you wish to hear.
