Of course you can get her a present, how long and how well you know her would determin maybe how expensive. If it's only been a short while and you don't know her very well you might only want to get her something to let her know your thinking of her. If it's been a while and you know her rather well, then put some more thought into it.

You should go ahead and get her something but I wouldn't spend a lot of money on it or that would be moving too fast.

If she knows you like her, YES! If you barely know her, then it's best you don't (or just send her something small, like a candy cane). If she doesn't know you like her but you're friends or know each other well, then get her something bigger (like a personalized card with a gift-certificate or a CD).

by all means get her a gift just don't let it be real extravagant or anything personal that would make her think your are thinking marriage she might be offended if you don't get her a little of something get her a necklace earrings if ears are pierced ,bracelet, perfume ,CD ,video or anything like that
