I am a junior in high school and I have not been working hard in my most important year of school. I have around a 3.0 GPA, but I noticed two things. First, it is not like I do not want to work hard, but it is like some external force is preventing me from doing so. Also, every time I look at the clock, the minute-hand is at "23". I remembered that Michael Jordan was cut from his basketball team in 11th grade and wore the number "23", and is now considered the best basketball player alive. Do you think God made him and me go through "adversity" for me to hopefully become the best at something? I know it is weird, but the fact that the clock always shows "23" is even weirder.

You find coincidences where none exist and look for divine intervention in things you consider signs. Jordan succeeded through hard work and by just being lucky enough to have the genes for height and good coordination.

Growing up many of us like to believe that we are special in the world, but the reality is that there is no grand scheme and everything that happens is a combination of reactions from previous actions and random convergence.

Don't look for signs, don't expect divine help, work hard, be the best at what you do and success will follow.

Houston we have a problem. I think whenever you type a question, it will be the first one on the top, because its the most recent. Just wait like 10 minutes, when another question will replace yours. And before you do anything, go to a doctor of psychologoy, and ask if the spirtis are surrounding you. I think this could be a sign-A crazy sign.
