The rape lie sounds like a bad idea. If anything, I'd hide the pregnancy for a few months and break it to my parents easy......The rape thing will cause bigger problems................Please think about it. Good Luck!

Tell the truth, please.
Your parent's may blow up, ground her, and even you for being involved, who knows what they will do, but blaming it on rape is not the option.
Your sister must not have thought about the consequences of being sexually active.
Your parent's will know what to do better than anyone because they know your sister better. It may not sound like the truth, but it is.
My sis got pregnant and tried to hide it, then finally told my mother, and although she was very upset with her she still helped my sis through it all. Now my sister has a 9 year old son. Whom we all love very much. It took allot of time for my sister to get used to being a parent (2yrs), but while that was going on my mother and I took care of the baby.
If your sis is just to affraid to talk to your parents, tell her to seek counseling. Don't let her wait to long thought. They might have a Crisis Pregnancy Hotline she could call.
Good Luck, cause you and your sis are gonna need it.

Why lie about rape? Think of the millions of women that really do get raped.
If she was woman enough to lay down then she should be woman enough to tell the truth

Not sure what you are asking, but the rape lie is a horrible idea. there is a good chance the cops would get involved... you really don't want to lie to the cops. Besides, didn't your parents teach your that honesty is the best policy?

As someone who was raped. It is really offensive to me that you would trivialize the horror and the pain I suffered just so your little sister can lie about being stupid enough to get knocked up. You are lucky to not have had to experience it and should be thanking your stars. She made the decision to have sex she should accept the concesquences of her actions. You are both brainless idiots imo.

If you lie about rape, you will be perpetuating the myth that women who claim they have been raped have in fact NOT been raped and asked for it. You will contribute to the epidemic problem of women not coming forward after being raped for fear of not being believed.
This whole thing makes me sick.

ok it was hard to understand.. you are 16 and telling your younger sister to lie that she was raped??? you are saying this to cover for her getting pregnant??
do you realize that rape is a crime AND that FABRICATING RAPE (lying that you were raped) is also a crime.. so you are encouraging her to commit a crime???
maybe she needs real help her.. she is having sex and you are saying its ok and helping her to lie about it...
she needs to TELL THE TRUTH and decide what she is going to do and do it quick (if its abortion)
If she is thinking of keeping the baby she should think again.. she is not ready to be a parent
the best option is adoption...
AND fess up to the truth.. she is looking for love in the wrong place
