As a small kid was there something you REALLY REALLY wanted as a kid? You know that one thing that every kid wanted for christmas that year, that every kid on the block got BUT you?
If so what was it and did you ever find out why YOU never got it?

This happened alot to me as a kid and still even now. The things I've always wanted have always been really expensive. I guess I always dreamed BIG. The reason I never got them was because my parents and everyone else couldn't afford them, it was just too much money. I'm sure if we would've been wealthier it may have been different, but I'm kind of glad that I have to work for the things I want it makes me appreciate them more when I can actually get them, rather than just being spoiled and ungrateful.

too hard to decide upon all the different kinds- digital camera ( i had to pick my own and order it) i got it, but it didnt feel like a christmas present.
another reason.... to hard to transport or get a hold of.
but my mom always found a way to give me a version of my wish. and i love her for it =]
i wanted a cat, she got me a toy cat
i wanted a computer( when i was 3 hahah) she gave me a toy one that was actually really cool
it always worked out that way .... =] and it made me appreciate things.

Sadly, it was the other way around =[ i live in a rough neiborhood where hardly anyone got half of the stuff i have and i am very thankfull
