I bought my 1980 Camaro RS From a guy I have the title but no car I don't know where he moved the car to but i need to find it. Can you help.

You need to go to the police department quick . He can get a duplicate title in less than two weeks and sell it again. He will swear he "lost" your title and never sold it to you.Once its been sold to another buyer and he registers it you will only be able to get your money back , maybe.
At least go to the dmv and get it registered in your name.

That is a tough one. You can go to an DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) Inspector and ask for guidance. If you think that the person you purchased the vehicle from is keeping the car from you then you can get law enforcement involved by reporting the car stolen. Hope that it shows up soon. Good luck.

Go to the post office and get his forwarding adress.
And as a rule when I buy a car from an owner I ask him for his license and write down all his information.It may seem wierd to do but I dont get screwed.And don't worry if he gets a duplicate title,the original voids his.

dmv dmv -if you have clear title they have to tell you where it is registered ---or report it stolen cops will find it if you do it this way dont run away -hang their ***
