Go to www.carwale.com and see which car works for you in terms of major concerns - price, size, mileage, etc (you can do a comparison of up to 4 cars)

Next test drive all the cars you have shorlisted on ONE single day. Preferably choose the exact same route for all cars (you can ask the showrooms to send you the cars for trial). I would recommend that you try it at the showrooms if you want to try more than one car at each showroom (different models and versions), and especially if the showrooms are close to each other.

I strongly recommend that you start with the one you think is likely to be the best drive and then move to the one you consider the worst.
