It's ok to say Christmas movie. To answer your question, it's a toss up between It's a Wonderful Life and Christmas Story. It's a Wonderful Life has grown on me. I didn't really understand it as a kid, but as an adult, I understand that ppl sometimes feel sad around Christmas time, but that no person really is alone and that a person's life really does touch the lives of others. It's really great when all those ppl in Jimmy Stewart's house starts singing Hark the Herald Angels sing. Merry Christmas.

If I had to choose between the two, it'd be "It's a wonderful life". But my favorite Christmas movie will always be "A Christmas Story". Or "The Nightmare Before Christmas", if it qualifies as an actual "Holiday" movie..
