First, take your sister to verify the pregnancy.
Second, sit down with your parents .. perhaps first without your sister, and break the news to them, and try to help keep things calm and encourage them that your sis needs support and love, not judgement and anger.
Good luck, you are a good sister.

That's just terrible, who is she having sex with that vcould Knock her up? and Older man? This kind of news is not going to be taken lightly, I have a daughter of my own and If I thought this was going on it would freak me out. She's not old enough to actually have a child. If the family believes in abortion, or adoption, these are obvoiusly the only answers. If tehy don't then why would they believe in having sex at such a young age, I feel sorry for you both, but the best way to tell them is immediately, figure out your options with your parents. And for God's sake STOP having sex! This is just a nightmare, and at her age, sex is the only thing that brings on this sort of turmoil. Go to your local clinic and get tested also, if she wasn't wearing a condom, other disease may be present.

There is no good way to tell your parents that thier 12 year old BABY is pregnant....but you need to tell them. I would suggest you being there for moral support for your sister. How old are you? are you at an age where you can talk to your parents like an adult? I can not imagine having sex at 10 and pregnant at 12...I can't imagine how my parents would react...I wish you the best of luck with this...carve out a GOOD amount of time to talk to them.

"We're scared that (Sis's name) might be pregnant." You will probably want to wait until December 26, but then you need to get with the parents and lay this before them. Hopefully it's still soon enough to do something about the situation. The time element is why you must be brave and talk to your parents soon. Good luck.

If your sister was having sex at age 10, I somehow doubt your parents will care that she's pregnant. Any parent who allows their 10 year old enough alone time to be having sex can't be a very good parent.

Just tell them and if that is too hard to do put it in a note to them and goto your friends house till they read it then call. Or tell a teacher who can tell them for you. The sooner you tell them the better because if its earily and you and your family chose to have an abortion the easier and better it will be for you. Or your family may decide to keep it and raise it as your sister or brother. But they will be upset, mad, and cry but they will not stop loving you. Time heals all.

Oh boy. Are your parents violent or extremely angry type of people? First of all, you might want to consider going to your pastor at church and asking for them to help you discuss it with them. If you don't have one, then consider a close aunt or friend of your mothers. Sometimes it is easier when there is a third party present to help them stay calm. What a difficult time. I pray God will guide your sister on what to do next. Blessings to you both.

you should tell your parents because there could be complications that could cause your sister to die frolm this seeing as her body isn't the proper size at 12 to hold a baby for 10months and if she decides to go through with it get the boys parents involved as well seeing as she didn't do this alone. Hopefully your parents will be understanding in that their daughters health is at stake

ahhhh........for one thing your sister,i am guessing that she might get in trouble for being pregent at such a youth age;but other then that i think that you should approach your parents slowly and make them promise they wont yell at u.Then discuss the problem. If they start yelling;which will happen tell them that they broke the promise.Knowing some parents as soon as the baby is born they put him/she up for adoption or foster care until u are old enough to take care of he/she.
