my three fingers on my right hand started to get really dry today for no reason. I don't wanna put lotion on it because it just conceals it for the time and doesn't really help. It's kind of peeling too, should i just wait it out?

Start with lotion to avoid cracking and bleeding, then get some EFAs Essential Fatty Acids, you may need oils in your body, drink plenty of water.

I hate lotions because most leave an oily residue then I am touching the keys and making a mess of the keyboard and mouse, that's where I use my legs to rub the residue off, might sound funny or wierd but it works, my hands are good and my keyboard isn't disgusting.

Wash hands with anti-bacterial soap. Rub a light coating of Mentholatum on your hands. Put on cheap, disposable rubber gloves (loose fitting). Run hot water over hands for three minutes. Leave the gloves on over night. In the morning, wash your hands thoroughly.

All these actions are for symptomatic relief - you need to find the cause to cure the problem.

I agree with everyone who says put on vaseline on before bed and wear a glove. You could also try a paraffin bath. They have them for around $30.They work really good.

Honestly I suggest putting Vasoline on before bed at night, if you have a pair of gloves to wear while you sleep this really helps and will help heal them in a day or two.
