they desire nuclear capability for a similar motives anybody else needs it. they desire it for non violent purposes AND for weapons. basically like US. they're very frightened of Israel nuking them and that i do no longer blame them. Israel is uncontrolled and has forgotten the place they have been 60 years in the past. Now they're the oppressors. I doubt very lots that Iran could strike first if that they had nukes yet you be attentive to rattling properly the Israelis are itching to nuke somebody so they instruct how useful they're. i would not positioned it previous them to nuke civilian targets the two. Any race that considers themselves to be "Gods chosen human beings" can rationalize any action via telling themselves they're doing Gods will. If Iran has no way of protecting itself from such an attack what's combating the Israelis from doing regardless of they desire. this is how the chilly war worked if one area have been to have become greater in a position than the different there could have been no stability and there could have been a nuclear war. study your historic previous. human beings say that iran is anti-semetic. you're able to get your histroy right this moment. Iranians are Semites. The Semites are anybody who's descended from Abraham. no longer basically the Hebrews however the Arabs and the Persians etc. What you call anti semetic is surely anti-Zionist. that's to assert they do no longer basically like the reality that Israel stole the Palestinians us of a.

Iran has never said it wants nukes. It only nuclear energy for its energy needs.

What is it that empowers US (and its allies) to pursue nuclear power, but deny the same to other countries ? Does the US own the world ? If US wants to deny nuclear power to Iran, why did it allow Israel ? Double standards like this is why most of the world hates US.

It is to defense as well as offense. The two countries in my opinion that she wants to retaliate are Israel and U.S.No question about it and The American can see the Iran far away and both are playing mouse and cat game while using Israel and Hezbollah to be the buffer States. Well 30 years of sour relationship is not over yet and I do not want to see this type of hostile between U.S. and Iran.

America are having troops killed and wounded every day in Iraq and the reasons why such a powerful nation thought it was worth intervening in the middle east we may never know but Iran being as it borders Iraq may be part of the plan when you have already deployed so many troops and spent so many trillions
When a super-power is prepared to invade a near neighbour, who would not want a way to fend them off?

TURN THE TV OFF.
EDUCATE YOURSELF, BY READING.
Include a variety of sources.
One suggestion: Read "Target Iran", Scott Ritter.

Western countries can have nuclear energy plants, why not Iran?
Remember, Israel has nuclear weapons; the only country in the region.

Some additional questions, who was the Shah? How did he come to power? What was SAVAK? Who began the "Atoms for peace" program?

History, better than any Soap Opera.

Could it be because they want Bush to kick the crap out of them then rebuild them? They are no longer exporting an Islamic revoultion but developing an energy source, according to them, we have yet to prove otherwise, and besides we are still the only country to ever use a nucular devise in war

Why shouldn't they do just as they like? That's the American way, isn't it? Incidentally why do you Americans insist on spelling offence and defence they way you do? Nouns like advice are spelled with a C. A verb like advise or an adverb or adjective like defensively or defensive with an S. Can't you tell the difference? What? Never thought about it? What, don't know what an adverb is? Masters of the world, I'll say so!

The spelling gets worse. Paulisfre doesn't know the difference between devise and device and is that nuclear he is trying to write, maybe the way "Dubya" pronounces it? You really crease me up sometimes.

Iran wants nuclear power for several reasons. They want nuclear power for energy and they want a nuclear power plant explicitly for the purpose of having a reactor. They intend to nuke Israel and everyone in the world knows that. Which leads me to ask back, "Are we supporting Israel's right to exist, or are we supporting Israel because we know that Iran, Iraq and Syria fully intend to nuke Israel if they are given the chance?"

In that case I think it would be a whole lot less volatile to get out of Iraq and to focus on resolving the Palestine issue.

They may not use it for offense themselves, but who knows who they will pass it on to other less stable countries to use. Irak was never a threat to the west, whilst Iran could be. A big balls up comes to mind.

Like other countries, Iran is scared of crazy Bush. During the clinton years, those countries didn't care about nuclear weapons, but Bush doesn't care about human life, so they are threatening him back.
