the year, it's ok/normal to be a D.I.C.K?!?! Admit it, you're like that, I know it! I think you should be good 365 days or just be a D.I.C.K. 365 days. Don't change and try to fool everyone during December.

It's not just Americans, it's everybody who expects a friendly face and a pleasant mindset around the holidays, any holidays. In my country of Germany we have the same expectations, and in my husband's country of Belgium it's the same. We all need kindness, there is not enough going around. This need becomes even greater around a special festivity like Christmas etc. or our birthday.

not necessarily Americans, but every one trys to extend their heart, around the holidays, simply because we have to have a heart sometimes or another. as far as being a dick the other 365 , i have a theory on that.....if you open your heart, people will step on it, so in America to protect your physical as well as your emotional you have to have a cold shoulder. Other reasons include people not having god,parents(or good parents), or morales in their life. merry x mas!
