Communism is the political economic ideal that all members of a society work together for the common good of the state and its people. In its true form there is no need for leadership because the people are willing to work cooperatively to lead themselves. Unfortunately this takes something of a hive mentality.

well, you know how the government has corrupted it to a form that doesnt work for the people and is oppressive extreme. Im sure it has its base in the word commune, or community, where people worked together and shared for survival and betterment of t heir life conditions.

The State owns all means of production, and provides jobs to people. Private ownership of property and other capital is not permitted. Distribution of commodities is handled by the state. Everywhere it's been tried, it's been a spectacular failure.

Having all things in common. Common wealth. Not a bad idea but it doesn't work out that way. It's to easy for a communistic government to corrupt and become a dictatorship.

No rich no poor everyone is just middle class and the same. This however does not happen because people and governments are greedy. Its a nice idea but in practice does not work.

when the government controls the economy so everyone gets a fair amount of money or property. But this type of government doesnt work because people who work hard deserve more and the people who dont work as much get more then they deserve.
