It seems that every one of us, male AND female, have this crazy tendency to be hopelessly attracted to people that are obviously bad for us; only to ignore and refuse the advances of people that would be make great choices for us.
I mean, I constantly run into girls that are only interested in men that are aloof and sometimes even abusive; only to look right past the "nice guys".
Whereas the guys always seem to be head over heels for the girls that couldn't care less about them, only to look right past the girls that would do anything for them.

What's up with that?

gotta love a bad boy a few times before you can appreciate a nice guy.

This one is kind of hard to explain...I used to be one of the girls that went for the wrong guys and always regreted it in the end. From what I know from experience and from other sources this is a type of a cycle. The girls are -for what ever the reason- used to being treated bad by guys so that is the kind of relationship that they are comfortable in, not saying that they LIKE it, it's just what they are used to and that is what makes it feel comfortable and familiar. When they try to have a relationship with a nice guy that would treat them with love, care and respect it feels strange. As odd as it may sound, being around a guy that treats her well probably scares her, she is not sure what to expect. With a guy that treats her bad at least she knows what is going to happen and she can be prepared for it on some level. Also people just like the challange and the mystery of someone that is aloof and unpredictable. It somehow spices up their life (and fantasies) for a short time.

I know !! And so does everybody I know. Some call it karma, you will always pick your own punishment in this lifetime ! Do you believe that. This is so much trouble when we choose the wrong person when the nice guy or gal we dumped ends up being perfect for another person,
Such is life. Cest la vie.

I think this has to do with our craving for excitement. Where sex is concerned, excitingly dangerous people are more of a draw than the steady, decent, and predictable. We rise to the challenge of taming the predator, male or female...and I bet that when the effort actually succeeds, the sexual excitement diminishes!

sh.it man, i get advances only from married overweight women and bytches with horrid attitudes that we could never last.

Theres one female im really attracted 2 now but i admit its because she has huge t.ts and she has this stare and is kinda mean, but its an act and i like to make her laugh. It usually takes a little bit of flirting.

cuz we are all hard headed humans and we must learn from ur mistakes then we know right from wrong...and sometimes we think we can get thru to this person and change them...but that is not true we are who we choose to be just as much as anyother person on this planet.
and if you are havin a hard time wit someone on this term then you need to lose them...if that person does not love you for whom you are then don't change yourself...

that's not me. my bf is a sweet guy and he is good at all kinds of things including things that are "women's work" or "not manly." he is very nice but at the same time he can be tough if he needs to be. but he treats me with the utmost respect and does not treat me like i am a helpless woman or i can't be good at things men are good at. he likes it when i act a bit rugged but he likes it when i act girly. he likes it when i'm independent but he likes it when i ask for help. he pays attention to me, tells me he loves me and kisses me in front of people (when it is appropriate) he likes telling people he is with me, and he is very attentive to my needs, in life and in the bedroom.

and i am the same way back to him.

so it's not everyone.
