Then you're up for some extremely trying times. It's hard on a person's psyche and heart to watch one who is special to them, act special towards someone else. Even if they say things aren't good where they are, still...they are there for the kids, or whatever reason, and not readily available for you when you need them...sigh..
And to comment, on another answer...just because someone is attached to another, does not mean they are not your soulmate. People become committed for a variety of reasons. Love is not always one of them.

Who says your soul mate HAS to be of the opposite sex? I don't mean anything sexuality-wise. I believe my very best friend of 20 years is mine. She feels the same. We're both married (with children) but a soul mate is someone that completes you.

We all have more than one soulmate, it takes form in another frame or dimension. Most of my friends who are close to me are men and not boyfriends, are married and are soulmates. Communication is key if you're feeling there is something on your mind, talk with the individual, you'd be very surprised what may happen. If you're asking personally, I wish all the best to you.

That sucks man!

I guess you should just be happy that you even got to meet your 'soul mate'...

Some people never get that chance.

Is this a trick question?

If it's YOUR soul mate, they wouldn't already be married. What's meant for you is for you, alone.

That has happened in my case. She is married 100% so we settle for being 'best friends'. And her hubby seems comfortable with that.

You remove yourself from the situation unless you get a thrill out of being a homewrecker.
