Most of the time its 1-2 inches, but on occasion they will put 3 more. Maurice jones drew is really about 5'6. Lt is a "generous" 5'9 1/2. Almost eveyone, except for they o-line men are actually shorter than they are listed. It just depends on how much they alter their height.

Pretty common on the rosters that you'll see inches added to height, pounds added to weight, and tenths of second taken away from those 40 times. Nothing stopping teams from doing that.

No. Look at Maurice Jones-Drew. He's listed at 5'7, and when standing next to other guys he looks just about that tall. There are players generously listed, like I've heard LT is really around 5'8, not 5'10. Also Allen Iverson (basketball, but he counts) appears to be 5'11, not the 6'0 he's listed.

ive heard they do idk tho you know jeff bagwell who retired from the astros before i met him at this thing called astros fanfest and i was 5'4 at the time and he was only a little taller than me im guessing 5'8 and they say he is 6'... i think they lie abt there height in all sports. lol
