Talk to him when you are not in the throws of passion. Tell him what you just told us and that if he is unable to respect your limits... then he doesn't respect you either and you don't need him.

Best Wishes,

Sue

Do what you feel comfortable with... Don't let him or anybody else force you into doing anything you're not ready with physically or emotionally.
Virginity is something special and I believe that you should save it for when you're ready to take on that responsibility and when you're ready to accept anything that may happen as a result of sex...

I'm not saying that I'm a Christian or that I think you should save it for your wedding night, but I do know that I fooled around for a few years before ever going all the way. I lost my virginity when I was 22 to the man I thought I would marry... Unfortunately for me the relationship fell apart less than a year later and I regretted having sex with him and wish that I had saved it for my husband.

The only advice I can give you is this: Wait until you are 100% ready to do it on every level and know that if you do, you won't regret it later. Do not let him push you into it and if he's not willing to wait and respect your decision, then he's not worth keeping as a boyfriend.

Good luck, and have a very merry Christmas.

Im around your age and I am still a virgin and Im very proud of it. I have alot of respect for myself and I guess you can say after i made up my mind thats that. I was put in a similar situation as you are right now. We (me and my then bf) had a conversation and i told him flat out WE ARE NOT HAVING SEX. He was pushing for me to change my mind but i told him lil boys right now may like you alot and TELL you they love you but there somewhat immature and im saving myself until not nessecarly until im married but until im in love and potentially see a future with that person. Plus BOYS TALK TOO MUCH. Be honest with yourself does this boy see his self having a long lasting future with you? Girls get caught up too fast and boys may tell you all that stuff about marriage and kids and how they love you but they arent ready for a committment like that right now. My friend had sex on her 1st try and got pregnate. If you got pregnate would your boyfriend still be around??? My friend thought so but unfortanatly he's out there having sex with other females. As for my sistuation i told him i was not having sex with him and we ended up breaking up a week after then he got with a lil freshman who would. Im at peace with myself and i don't feel bad at all I HAVE MY SELF RESPECT AND MY DIGNITY. Sometimes theres not a happy ending and he may leave but you can hold your head high and KNOW you're better off without him anyways because if he's telling you to do what your not ready to do you know exactly what hes looking for.

Some guys like to push too far, don't let him. Respect yourself, and if it mean losing him, you are probably better off for it. If he really cares for you, he'll still be around. If not, it's his loss.

The best thing is to tell him your not ready, if he feels the way he says about you then that shouldn't bother him. If it does then you don't deserve someone like that.
