If you outlaw boxing because it is violent, you'd have to outlaw other sports like hockey and football. Those people choose to deal with the violence and they get paid very well to get beaten up.

I dont think it should be.... they do wear gloves.... and it is their choice to go in the ring and take the punishment from an opponent.
