My friend was turned down by this really awesome girl. He saw her hugging her friend(who is a girl) and got all jealous. She was justtrying to consol her friend who just lost her father.
He wants to know if it is normal to be jealous even when it is two girls. Is it??
He is not normally a jealous person. He is normally very relaxed.

Yes, it is normal to be jealous in that manner. It doesn't have to do with the sex of the other individual but that they are receiving the thoughtfulness and caring of the girl that he wishes to receive it from also.

Jealousy is an emotion. All emotions can be controlled. I hope he can always control his jealousy. It is normal to feel varying degrees of this emotion. It's not necessarily that he is jealous of the girl hug, but envious of being hugged by the girl he is (currently) maddly in love with.

He also needs to quickly get over it. If the girl is not interested, his best bet it to move on before this infatuation turns into stalking.

Jealousy is such an ugly virtue. I would say that you're friend over reacted, unless he has some hang up about lesbians. Most men would have yelled hell yeah and tried to bed them both. Its a shame that he didn't keep himself in check until he knew the real story. He may not be used to women that are not competitive with each other, that aren't lesbians, that really care about each other.

No ,I would say not. If they were to ever hook up, he sounds like he might be controlling. I would talk to him about his feelings for not only her, but for someone he may be interested in n the future.

I would say that was a smart girl! if he is that jealous could you imagine the hell he would put her through if they did date. tell your friend to get counseling now or he is going to be a lonely man.

ROFL ... yes that's normal. love and romance are not the same thing. if she's showing love to someone other than him ... normal, but not rational. Then again hormonal attraction is RARELY rational.

Her rejection of him brought this on. Tell him to get over it. She isn't interested. What's next? Stalking her?
