It seems that whenever, I am winning at chess on yahoo.com, I crash. Is someone able to cause this by pinging me or something? Can yahoo help prevent this?

There are a few conditions under which this would happen. Yahoo is gracious to let us play for "free" but the last time I tried, the "new' yahoo chess was not worth it.

1. Not enough memory (RAM) in your machine. Doesn't happen often, but could cause a crash.
2. You are not enabling scripts in Yahoo. You have to enable at least Yahoo and Yimg to script on your machine.
3. Not enough memory (RAM) in your machine. Doesn't happen often, but could cause a crash.
4. You are not enabling scripts in Yahoo. You have to enable at least Yahoo and Yimg to script on your machine.

Etc. Get it?
Keep trying.
