First, reinstall iTunes. If that doesn't work, then when your iPod is connected to your computer and the iPod screen shows up on your computer. Check to see if there is a check on the "Manually sync iPod" box. If it is checked, uncheck it. If all that doesn't work, then I would call Apple. Hope I could be of help.

With contemporary variations of iTunes, you will desire to first create a playlist containing the songs you opt directly to pass on your iPod. Then, click on your iPod in the sidebar, and visit the "music" tab. replace the putting to sync the playlist you created on your iPod, and click the "sync" button on the backside. i think of you additionally could have the skill to sync all music, yet from what I bear in strategies this motives inconveniences if in an prolonged time there are in basic terms some songs you opt directly to pass on your iPod as nicely to those you have already got on there.
