Has he been checked out by a medical doctor? Maybe he's bi-polar. Maybe he simply needs some Welbutrin or something for mild depression.

You no a lot of guys need there space so when he is like that just leave him a lone and find something to do.He will really like that you can give him that time to think. My husband has been like that for 10years he nos that i give him his space and he does the same for me.That is why we are still together.Remember that you can;t always make him happy;and relationships are not always easy.People need there space and men do not want to ask for it they think you should be in tune with what your guy needs. If it is hard on you then do not let it be.Go visit a friend or do something else when he gets like that .Men will get more moody if you hang around them. when they are like that. trust me get out of the house and give him a break and yourself.Good luck i no that this works my husband &I have been together 10yrs going on 11yrs.

Yes, depression is becoming more common every day. The link I sent you will describe how low amounts of serotonin are the actual cause, but why the serotonin quits flowing evenly is unknown in most cases.

What can you do? Support him. Let him know you are there if he needs something. Maybe even get him in to receive some meds. Other than that, there is only one other thing I found that helped.

I found meditation helped alot. Either soothing music or no sound, with his eyes closed.

Good Luck & Merry Christmas.

there aree too many people who get moody ar sad for no reason..but don't you think you should ask him before judging him, my bf used to do the same till i got really tired of it so i asked him about his reasons... i did that for so many times till finally i got the truth, so he explained his reasons to me and while he's explaining he realized that there are some stuff don't worth getting sad or angry for...so i made him feel what he's doing and he promised to try to control him self or at least talk to me
be patient and calm with him,.... you love him, that's the only reason which can make you bear it , right?
Good Luck and Happy New Year

He is probably a manic-depressive. He does not sound like a good person to be with. If I were you, I would find another boyfriend since this relationship is doomed!!!

If you boyfriend is moody he may need to be medicated. Wide swings in behavior is a reason to be concerned. He should see his doctor. You are a wonderful person for caring for him.

Sounds Bi-Polar (manic-depressive)...they have episodes of depression (low)...then episodes of mania (highs) up, down, up, down..Yeah...it is very very difficult to be in a relationship with people that have this illness...They don't want to be like this, but it is not something that they can control...I have heard "interactive" light therapy is immensely helpful with this condition...Good luck.

Sometimes fatigue plays a larger role in our lives than we realize.

Sometimes diet and environment play a big role too.

Chronic fatigue syndrome runs a routine close to this.
Check it out online to compare your notes with theirs.

Suggest he speak with personal medical provider - sometimes meds help.

he probably has some problems that hes trying to hold in, happens with men we dont like to show that were having issues. But after a while you have to show some sort of emotion and thats probably whats happening to you.
