Now that the trade has settled down, lets focus on the Sixers.

Will Andre Miller be able to make some kind of significant change for the Sixers. After his performance last night, I'm impressed. He can pass (unlike Iverson) and he doesn't make foolish mistakes like Iverson did. But that was just last night against the Knicks.

But can he make change in the future? Will Iguodala be able to fill in those 30 PPG that the Sixers lost with the Allen Iverson trade?

Andre can pass the ball well, but it is not him that will make the difference. It will be the three first rounders next year that is going to make the difference. Who will probably end up being Kevin Durant from Texas, Kyle Visser from Wake Forest, and DeVon Hardin from California. But they will not do much at all this year. They just needed the cap room and Webber won't last after this year either which is where Durant will come in.

Andre Miller may be able to do a bit for the 76ers, in fact, I think he could guide the 76ers to the play-offs. I don't know how long it will take him to get used to the style of Philadelphia and the way that they play basketball. Unless of course the 76ers change their playbook, to the point where Miller is throwing lobs to Dalembert which I would love to see. But until then, Miller may be a better fit for the 76ers and he does play pretty smart basketball and I agree, he does know how to pass.

Iguadola won't get to the point where he is an NBA superstar. I think he's much like Lamar Odom, a player who plays the decoy or the sidekick, but he is a very good one. I don't think he'll ever average near 30 PPG but maybe the mid-20s, and that's the most. He has to work on his intelligence. I think he's a bit selfish, but that may be as a result of the horrible roster he's a part of(besides Andre Miller).

Plus the 76ers don't need anyone to fill that 30 PPG spot, at least not juts one individual. Philadelphia is going to get a lot more team effort now that they don't have that one guy that they can always go to.

Not really. By that time Andre will be a bit old. Right now he doesn't have the right personnel to make a difference and the young guys they're gonna get next year might not get to play with andre anymore because... well he's not that young anymore. They should just trade him and get a young guy in return. That's just really too bad for andre, he's a great point guard but has never been at the right place at the right time

It's just that the Sixers don't really need Miller in their starting-over state. His contract -- with nearly $20 million remaining, through 2008-09, after this season -- offers no real salary-cap relief and, in a worst-case scenario, his presence (along with Joe Smith) just might make the Sixers competitive enough for their own first-round pick to fall out of the top three.

I think he can help. He is a pass first point guard who likes to set the offense up. Unlike AI who liked to play the transition game, Miller is more of a half court player. Iggy is a fantastic young guy on philly and between him, cwebb, and korver, amiller should have plenty of options as far as passing goes. he's also a bigger point guard who will get more rebounds than AI ever did. He won't ever score like AI, but miller is a guy who was the asst leader a few years ago, and i wouldn't be surprised for miller to avg nine assts per game with philly.
