Women...How do you feel about men who brag?

I guess it could be about anything in general, but how do you feel about it and why do you think they brag to begin with?

they make me doubt them & thus trust them NOT...its disgusting really....shows their disrespect for themselves..so how they ever will respect others....proves INSECURE SOULS

In my opinion, it depends on what they brag about because I won't try to make a man can't be proud of his successes if that's what he's bragging about because he worked hard to get where he is and he should be proud of himself or anything else he may brag about.
The only thing that I hate most what a man can brag about is sex; when he makes it seems like he's a sex god or brags about when he got a certain woman in the sack or even when he refers to a woman as an object.
I think they brag because there is something that their insecure about but it's far from what they're letting on or their not getting the approval which they seek from someone important in their life.

Same reason that women brag.... to feel good about themselves.

An occasional bragger might do it to compliment themselves if no one else is. For example, someone might brag to her boss' boss about an accomplishment that the boss didn't make notice of. This is common and really nothing more than a person asking to be recognized for a legimate accomplishment.

The frequent braggers are the ones with a deep psychological need to feel superior to everyone around him. It is especially pathetic if he brags to someone who has accomplished more on the particular topic and he still won't back down.

A bragger is a total turn off, he runs his mouth to hear himself, because no one else is listening, even if there are only two people in the room. This is the most boring individual whether they are trying to or not. I also think that bragging is part of that "Napoleon Syndrome", either in height, in the bedroom or just life in general.

They brag because they are insecure. By bragging they are trying to make themself more important. Some brag in order to build themself up and make others look bad. It's a very unbecoming characteristic.

Actually i kinda like it! I like a man with a strong self esteem! It's quite attractive to a point. It's ok to brag every once in a while but after a while it gets boring! It makes you look self centered to her and people!

the most attractive thing of all is the person who has lots to brag about, but is humble instead, the person who doesn't have to compete or be an expert or promote himself. let your actions and abilities speak for themselves.

those who don't have it or not enough of it have to keep talking about it.
Those who have enough just walk off and smile.
Guys are bad about this and always seem to have to be talking ablout their latest conquest or newest toys.
My guy talks about his new toys because he is a big kid at heart, he never (as far I know) has to talk about our last time. Of coarse knowing that it will be the last time for a while could be part of that too.

To me, a bragger is a loser trying to make up for his millions of shortcomings. But, that's my personal opinion. My ex husband used to 'brag' about our sex life to my best friend, saying all kinds of things. She mentioned this to me recetnly. I sure didn't put it past him! He is a total loser (even lives with his dad and he is 52 years old with no job due to his sexual harrassment and inability to keep a job), pervert, etc. In short, this is how I see braggers.

I don't like when anyone brags, no matter what gender. It's a gross display of ego.
