It really depends on the actual size of the universe. Some people think that our universe is finite, while others believe that it is infinite.

Answer 1.

If the universe is infinite and you divide it in half an infinite amount of times, you would still have a universe of infinite size.

Answer 2.

If the universe is finite and you divide it in half an infinate amount of times, you would be left with an infinitely small space that we have no way of measuring, and have not even begun to conceptualize. It would be small enough to be considered absolutely nothing, but since you can never divide something in half and get 0 then technically it would still be something.

Anyway.. There it is in a nutshell.

It is an open question as it has not been decided yet if the universe is open - expanding whoever, or closed, or indeed shrinking.

In any case the size of the universe in unknown so it is not possible to find the size of any part of it

Well, eventually you would be splitting atoms, causing a nuclear disaster, so there wouldn't be any universe left to speak of.

If you take ANYTHING and divide it by half 92 times, the 93rd time you would be splitting an atom.
