almost all insurance companies will not cover meds to help you stop smoking..even if they are prescribed by a dr
they will offer you smoking cessation classes but that is about it

There are so many different plans for each insurance company. Your best bet is to call customer service and ask them. If you have your insurance card, the number should be on the back. They'll be able to tell you if there is coverage for specialists (psychiatrists, etc), if you need a referral from your medical doctor, and what the coverage is like (what your copay/deductible is). I hope you feel better soon! It's great that you are wanting to do something about it.

Many insurance companies have smoking cessation programs, go to the website listed on the back of your insurance card.

The money YOU will save when you quit will easily pay for any treatment process you choose! Until YOU accept responsibility for your health and habits, you will not likely change them.

Best wishes and good luck.
