Sam Walton closed his stores every Christmas EVE and DAY.When he passed this tradition was carried on as well as closing for Thanksgiving.

Well my Wal-mart is open, so it must depend on the town. it would seem so much more logical to stay open on chirtmas eve though right? sorry about that:)
