Off TV till at least wrestlemania to heal up and his contract is almost up

He went to ecw but now he is taking some time away from wrestling due to injuries.He is still under contract with wwwe though.His contract ends in early february.It is not official as yet but the wwe was planning on having a big show vs hulk hogan match at wrestlemania23.

Yup... he went to ECW, but they let him take time off to recover from some injuries... he isn't scheduled for any shows or events until Feb when his contract expires.
Far as I've read, it's up in the air if he will re-sign or not... but a lot of people are thinking he'll retire because of the wear and tear on his body.

His contract ran up and he is taking a break due to injury. His last televised match was either the loss to Bobby Lashley after December To Dismember or Christmas night on the Raw Tribute to the Troops. He has knee and back problems due to his size.There is a stong chance that he will wrestle a match at Wrestlemania and work a deal like Mick Foley has to wrestle occasionally.

the big show took some time off of wrestling and he didnt sign a wwe 4 year contrac they oferd him a anthor contrac but he didnt want it he in a lot of pain so he might not be at wrestlemania 23 it was suppoed to be show vs hogan but it might will not be that so big show has retired from wrestling for good if you dont belive me go to wwe.com

Big Show semi retired, I think it was because of health problems, that's why Lashley has the belt now and won it at December to Dismember
