It's OK! I lit a fire in the fireplace a while ago and it is just getting to the good part, when it is all aglow and the flames are all there and it is bright and cheery. It will go another hour before I will need to add wood. (My woodstove downstairs keeps the house warm.) This is the first holiday in a very LONG time that I am not sharing it with a Lady in my life. It is strange to sit here, alone, after most always being WITH someone. So, I am little sad at the moment, and maybe have a twinge of feeling sorry for myself, but by no means do I feel BAD. It is just different, for lack of a better word. I wonder about my future. Will I be alone? Not to worry. Life changes and is always interesting. I have had better days and several which have been disasters of a sort. This one, even though I am alone, ranks relatively high in the pecking order of my days. No matter how bad things get, there is always hope that tomorrow can get worse, but more likely than not, tomorrow will at the least be a NEW day with all of the possibilities which that implies! Be well, do good work, keep in touch.

My Xmas eve is interesting. I posted an ad for a Salsa dancing partner on the Internet several months ago and got an answer to=day. The guy lives inmy hometown of Toronto, Canad. He sent me his picture and his home phone number and want sto go dancing. I was really surprised. He is Chinese and I am not. i have a boyfriend ,but I made a mistake and daid something and now we are apart for Xmas ,but pray that we will be back together in the New Year as I know he is smart and loving and cares about me ,just stubborn about what I said.
So Xmas tomorrow will be , perhaps calling the cguy on the Internet by phone and talking with him and calling my neighbour who is 78 byears old to come and visit and preparing for the Sales on Boxing day and well ...so far so good I think!!

Going great so far - got all the pre-baking done even made a pecan pie and it set up, first time ever!!
Got the gifts under the tree, stocking are hung, cookies and milk are out, and carrots are on the front lawn for the reindeer, glider is sprinkled in yard ( magic dust - from Santa ) now I think its time to sit and rest.
Have a Merry Christmas !!

Im having a nice Christmas. We went to church 10-11 in the evening last night. Its called the traditional mass of "simbang-gabi" in the Philippines. It means evening mass. We attend it to be reminded about the true meaning of Christmas that Jesus Christ is the guest of honor. After that my family ate "noche buena" spanish for midnight feast.. In some countries it's still Dec 24 so Merry Christmas to you all.

I burned the marshmallows and can't make Rice Krispie candy, but other than that, not bad at all. I'm alone in the peace and quiet of my apartment. I don't have to worry about wrapping gifts because my granddaughter does them all for me. I'm getting ready to go to bed and read a book. No last minute hustle or worry. I love it.

Overall, very well. I had to work today and will have to work tomorrow as well. Kind of depressing, but that's casino life and you gotta pay the bills. I will be celebrating Christmas tomorrow after work at 8pm with my daughter and my husband. Looking forward to it too.....
Hoping your Christmas is wonderful and your New Year just as great. Happy Holiday's!!

Peaceful, Quiet, I'm cosy and comfortable ... and FINALLY ALONE ...
This far outweighs the fact that I'll still be working for many months to repair the damage after my Ex-Spouse (from over 13 years ago) did to MY HOME when he Burglarized it yet again (in August 2006).
