How do I turn off my tamagotchi?

I have a Tamagotchi Connection Version 3. And it won't turn off. I let it sit there for 2 hours and it still won't turn off. What do I do?

You can reset it by pressing something like a pen in the reset button (in the back), but it won't come back the same age. If you still have the little plastic tab you can insert that back into the side, and that shuts it off; it will also, however, reset it.

Otherwise, you just have to lie it die (but don't do that - please - it would be Tamagotchi Negligent Homicide).

You can't turn tamagotchis off. You can put it on pause though. If you press the first two buttons(starting from the left) at around the same time it will go on pause. :)

Throw it against the wall and stomp on it.

You're not supposed to be able to turn them off. You have to take constant care of them or they die. like babies.
