i just got my results from the SAT 1570
I was wandering would this hurt my acceptance. I mean I have a good weighted GPA 4.2 unweighted GPA 3.7 and am president of two clubs(French and European). Im in the Jazz band and play the piano for the band. I took 3 foreign language classes (AP Spanish and Spanish Lit), AP french, and german 7-8). I even to city college over the summer to take Spanish 3 and Intermediate Algebra. I have done community service 50 hours. Volunteered 150 hours as teacher's aide and outside. "no sports". So would this be a good back up for the low SAT scores or is there no way out and they won't take me. I heard that all schools take everything as a whole. is this true? So the SAT scores is not a problem right?

Most schools look at GPA and SAT/ACT scores most, and then look at extra cirriculars and essays, reccomendsations, etc after that. Some schools don't even look at extra cirriculars. Your ACT score looks better, but send both of them. You still have a fairly good chance of being accepted. Just try, worry about it later.

You could always check their website for average test scores, what matters to them, etc.

u.s., UCLA, and UC-Berkeley, in an ascending order of difficulty, are a procedures extra reliable to get into than the different UC colleges. For u.s., a 2000 is a sturdy score; a 2150, with a minimum of a 1400 mixed, is a lot nearer to what you will decide on for the different 2.

Well, it could. You'll have to wait and see. If you are not sure that you will get in, you will need to apply to a backup school.
