I think that he is the best QB in the NCAA. But a close second would be Division 1 AA QB Armanti Edwards from Appalachian State. He passed and rushed for 2000 plus yards. There are only five people in the history of the NCAA to accomplish this. And he is a true freshman.

Umm their are others who could be argued but hes definitely better than Brady or Colt. Brady cant do anything when he plays a ranked opponent and im tired of hearing about colt. He plays in a run and shoot against the WAC competition. Hes a great SYSTEM qb, but he couldnt do the same thing at a major university in troys offense, which is more run oriented. Colt=David klinger, Ty Detmer, Andre ware and all those other qb's who put up those type of numbers.

I think not. Colt Brennan has just broke the NCAA record for TD's in a season. He is still working right now. Brady Quinn won the award for the top QB in college this season. I find it hard to award it to someone who plays on such a good team. He has so many weapons. I don't see as much help for the other two I mentioned. I beleive they will be much more productive in the NFL.

i take Brady Quinn over both colt Brennan and troy smith. Quinn will almost definitely be the first QB in the NFL draft. Quinn also doesn't have as good receivers as Troy Smith does and Notre dame doesn't have much of a running game..

Troy Smith is hands down the best quarterback in the NCAA because he can make all the plays, all the throws, and has great knowledge of the game. Not to mention his team is undefeated and playing in the Fiesta Bowl.
Colt Brennin opposition is not half of what Smith played against. Brennin played in the WAC, while Smith played the Big 10. Im sry but i am not givin the guy props when he passes for 500 yards against Fresno State.

No. Colt Brennan is the best QB in the NCAA. If Ohio State plays Hawaii, Hawaii could win. They have great RB, WR, and a great QB. Also, those guys from Hawaii U are huge.

Smith is the best College quarterback. I do think that there are other QB's in college that will end up being better pro QB's. I think that OSU would crush Hawai'i.

yes he is obviously since he won the heisman, also he led his team to a undefeted record, and yes i do think he deserves the heisman because hes got everything, the arm, he can run, hes smart
