Is it possible for a brown eyed father and hazel eye'd mother to have a grey eyed child?

the parents are african american and puerto rican and african american.

Yes it is possible. As long as the grandparents of the child or the parents of the grandparents had grey eyes it could appear in the child. This all has to do with complex heredity. So yes, it could happen.

I think you are asking if the two eye colors will "blend" to make grey eyes?? NO!!
Eyecolor is heriditary...only if the genes for grey eyes are present in the family line, the colors do not mix like paints.

I really don't think there is any rules on eye color when it comes to parents and their child. my mother has brite blue eyes, my father has dark brown eyes and I have brite green with yellow specs...........all my fathers family are brown eyed.........mother brown and blue

well , I have a friend whose father and mother and two sisters have black hair and brown eyes, howcome her eyes are ice-blue and she is blonder then blonde and has really white skin...
So I think, your offer is also possible...
