can I still use it? It still operates but is it safe? I have 10 bullet holes in my wave.

No, it is not safe. The shielding has been damaged and you can be exposed to radar emissions. A microwave works by exciting the water molecules and they heat up by generating friction, thereby cooking the food from the inside out. The same thing will happen to any parts of your body that get exposed to any microwave leakage. Give it to the bangers that shot up your 'hood. Maybe they'll be stupid enough to use it and you can get rid of a lot of rats.

When I was a very young pot head, my roommates and I had a microwave that shot sparks from it's back every time it cooked. I used it constantly. I couldn't imagine life without that thing . . . but did this really happen? You probably ought to move before you get a new one. You should, by the way. That's a real health and property hazard.

You should not use it. The bad rays can kill you. Check your care and use guide. Some brands of microwaves will be replaced by the manufacturer if they have been shot in a drive by shooting.
If you did not know the person that did it and you have never cooked for them, I think it should cover the cost of a new one

Use it if the fact that the microwaves are no longer contained doesn't bother you and you may grow an extra spleen.

Trash it! radiation can cause cancer...i lost my aunty from a damaged microwave oven. Don't use it...trash it.

You can use it if it works, it would be quite a conversation piece! I wouldn't stand too close to it though, obviously, someone hates your microwave
