okay here is the scoop... long story...
my boyfriends mother went to italy after she got out of college. she spoke hardly any italian. her female friend had a man friend in italy and he wanted to go out to dinner or something. he brought his friend (my bf's father) and my bf's mother tagged along with her friend.
so everything was great and the guy was translating for my bf's mother and father so they could talk to eachother. it must have gone very well because at the end of the night he asked her to marry him, his friend translated, and she said YES!
he moved to the us, they got married, and now it's been about 40 years they are still together and have two kids. including my bf.
what a cute story, doncha think?

Met April. Proposed about June. Married November. Still married 17 years and happy. :)
My parents married after 9 months of dating. Married for 64 years.

Met March 31 proposed about 6 weeks later, married over 29 years. It CAN work if God puts it together.

My husband proposed to me after 2 months, married 3 months later. Have been the happiest 7 years of my life! No regrets and looking forward to many, many more!

We met in November '91. Married in July '92. Had a child in Feb '93(do the math!) and have been married for almost 15 wonderful years. Truly love at first sight. We are meant for each other.

My husband and I got married 5 months to the day that we first set eyes on each other. It's now 11 years and 3 kids later, and still going strong.

My ex-husband and I started dating in February, and we married in November. We were married 12 years, and had 2 boys.
My husband proposed to me before my divorce was final! We dated 2 years though, and have been married 12 years this past April.

Met my husband on 26 October, he proposed in January, we married on 4 March and we've been married for 11 years this upcoming March.
Knew my ex for 2+ years before I married him, that marriage didn't last. Knew my husband for 4 months and married him, still going strong.
My grandmother met my grandfather 6 weeks before they married, they were married 64 years before he died.
