If you are asking how to put a link to a web site into an e-mail, it varies with e-mail programs. If using Yahoo e-mail, click the icon that looks like a globe with a chain link in front of it. That will open a box where you type the web site address. It will them be added to the e-mail.

You can just type the website into the e-mail. When your friend gets it, he simply copies it from the e-mail and paste it into the address bar of his web browser and it will take him there.

whatever email client you are using to send / cerate the email , make sure first if it has a rich text / html mode enabled or not . If you are in simple text mode , then it wont become a clickable link .
Once in html / rich text mode , type in the web address in full like : http://www.sitename.com and then press spacebar .
This will ensure its a clickable link by default . Furthermore you can also use " insert link " if that option in avaialble , btu this should not be required in most cases.
